The Youth Newcastle United 2026/27 Away Kit brings a distinctive heritage-inspired look to the Magpies’ new season, combining a deep night navy colourway with details celebrating Newcastle’s football and city identity.

The design reimagines Newcastle United’s cult 1990s denim-style away kit, using a two-tone textured effect across the shirt. Subtle graphics inspired by Newcastle’s historic castle are incorporated into the fabric, creating a direct connection to the city’s heritage.

One of the most distinctive elements is the return of the vintage Magpie and Castle crest, inspired by Newcastle badges from the 1970s and 1980s. A classic Magpie motif on the back of the neck completes the retro-influenced appearance.

Designed for younger supporters, the complete youth kit offers a stylish alternative to Newcastle’s traditional black-and-white home colours and is particularly suited to player printing from the club’s refreshed 2026/27 squad.

The 2026/27 season represents the beginning of a significantly new era for Newcastle United. Following Eddie Howe’s departure in the summer, Matthias Jaissle took charge of the first team, while the squad underwent a major rebuild involving several important departures and a new generation of signings.

The away kit reflects that combination of past and future. Its night-navy appearance takes inspiration from Newcastle’s much-loved 1990s denim kit, while the historic castle graphic and vintage crest celebrate the club’s connections with the city and earlier generations of Magpies shirts.

Newcastle’s 2026/27 squad has changed considerably, with Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimarães and Sandro Tonali among the major summer departures. New arrivals include Spanish midfielder Nico González, Bosnian full-back Amar Dedić, Belgian attacker Matias Fernandez-Pardo and young winger Bazoumana Touré, joining established players such as Yoane Wissa, Anthony Elanga, Harvey Barnes, Joelinton and Lewis Hall.

The result is a 2026/27 away kit that combines Newcastle heritage with the beginning of a new sporting cycle at St. James’ Park.

ELANGA 19 Sweden international winger known for his exceptional pace and direct attacking style. He switched to No.19 for the 2026/27 season.
BARNES 11 Experienced English winger and an established attacking figure in the Newcastle squad, making the classic No.11 a strong choice.
JOELINTON 7 Powerful Brazilian midfielder and one of Newcastle’s longest-serving current senior players, recognised for his physical and energetic style.
NICO 6 Spanish midfielder and major 2026/27 summer signing from Manchester City. The former Barcelona academy player wears No.6 in Newcastle’s rebuilt midfield.
HALL 3 England international left-back and boyhood Newcastle supporter who has developed into one of the club’s leading young players.
MILEY 67 Highly rated academy-developed midfielder and one of Newcastle’s most exciting young talents, offering a distinctive homegrown printing choice.
FERNANDEZ-PARDO 20 Young Belgian attacker signed during the 2026 summer window, representing the new generation being developed at Newcastle.

WISSA 9 is the top printing recommendation for the Youth Newcastle United 2026/27 Away Kit.

Yoane Wissa is an experienced DR Congo international forward who has taken an increasingly important role in Newcastle’s attack. He wears the traditional No.9, a shirt number with particularly strong historical significance at Newcastle United.

Wissa has also started the 2026/27 campaign as Newcastle’s central attacking option and scored in the Premier League victory away to Tottenham.

With Newcastle entering a substantially rebuilt era, the combination of a leading striker and the club’s famous No.9 shirt makes WISSA 9 one of the most representative printing choices for the 2026/27 away kit.
