The Vélez Sarsfield 1998–99 Home Retro Football Jersey celebrates the closing years of one of the most successful eras in Argentine football history. Following the club's 1998 Torneo Clausura championship under Marcelo Bielsa, Vélez entered the new season with a squad featuring several established members of its legendary 1990s generation.
