The Vélez Sarsfield 1997–98 Home Retro Football Jersey celebrates another unforgettable achievement in the history of the Argentine club. Under manager Marcelo Bielsa, Vélez captured the 1998 Torneo Clausura championship, completing an outstanding campaign with 14 victories, four draws and just one defeat. The title marked the club's fifth Argentine league championship and continued a remarkable period of success that had already included the Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup earlier in the decade.
