The RCD Espanyol 2026–27 Blue Vintage Special Edition Football Jersey presents an elegant tribute to one of Barcelona's most historic football institutions. Founded in 1900, Espanyol has built its identity around tradition, resilience and a deeply loyal community of supporters. Following the club's 125th anniversary, this heritage-inspired design connects more than a century of football history with the team's modern identity, incorporating architectural influences and traditional colours into a distinctive collector's shirt.

Espanyol's contemporary squad features Javi Puado, Roberto Fernández, Edu Expósito, Leandro Cabrera and Pol Lozano, representing a combination of attacking talent, midfield creativity and experienced leadership. The club's history includes four Copa del Rey triumphs and memorable European campaigns, while its connection with Barcelona remains central to the identity of its supporters. The decorative slogan “FE · VALOR · HONOR · 1900” reflects the values of faith, courage and honour associated with the club's heritage.

The jersey features a rich royal-blue base with alternating tonal vertical stripes, enhanced by intricate geometric patterns and ornamental motifs. A traditional blue polo collar with gold trim and matching navy-and-gold sleeve cuffs creates a refined vintage appearance. The full-colour crowned club crest sits prominently on the chest, above bold gold ESPANYOL lettering. Architectural illustrations decorate the lower front, while the back features an elaborate composition of Gothic-inspired architecture and RCDE Stadium, complemented by wave-like patterns and a small gold crown beneath the collar. Combining classic football styling, Barcelona-inspired architecture and the club's distinctive identity, this special-edition jersey is a striking addition to any Espanyol collection.

Season Information

Season/Year: 2018/19 Club: Manchester United Country: England Competition: FIFA 19 / Special Edition Release Kit Type: Digital Fourth / Special Edition Jersey Release Date: 29 November 2018 Match Status: Not worn in official first-team competition

The special jersey was released during Manchester United’s 2018/19 season, when the club competed in the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Champions League. José Mourinho began the season as manager before Ole Gunnar Solskjær took charge in December 2018. United eventually finished sixth in the Premier League and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The shirt belonged to a wider FIFA 19 special-edition project involving four major European clubs. Unlike a normal fourth strip created to solve match-day colour clashes, this design was conceived primarily around the digital football and gaming environment. The physical release made it a genuine collectible shirt rather than merely an unused computer-game concept.

The 2018/19 squad included Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera. Rashford changed to the famous No.10 for this season, while Pogba retained No.6, Martial No.11 and Lingard No.14. The Premier League’s registered squad-number list confirms these combinations.

Although none of these players wore this particular jersey in an official match, their 2018/19 squad numbers provide historically appropriate printing options for the shirt. This distinction is worth retaining in the product information: player printing represents the season associated with the special release, rather than recreating an actual match-worn combination.
