The Croatia 2026 Away Football Shirt marks a major new chapter for the Croatian national team, becoming part of the first match-kit collection of Croatia’s new long-term partnership with adidas. The Croatian Football Federation officially unveiled the new Home and Away shirts in September 2026.
The Away shirt uses a striking deep EQT Blue base, covered by an intricate tonal graphic inspired by traditional Croatian lace-making. Rather than simply adapting Croatia’s famous checkerboard identity, the design draws on a different element of Croatian cultural heritage: the centuries-old decorative lace craftsmanship found across the country.
The detailed lace-inspired pattern extends across the shirt to create a highly textured appearance, while contrasting red and white details reinforce Croatia’s national colours. A distinctive back-neck detail features “HRVATSKA” in a cross-stitch-inspired typeface, directly linking the football design with traditional Croatian craftsmanship.
The shirt also introduces a noticeably retro-influenced visual identity for Croatia’s new era, including the Trefoil emblem, while retaining the Croatian Football Federation crest.
