The Aston Villa 1995–96 Home Retro Football Shirt celebrates one of the club's strongest Premier League-era campaigns. Under Brian Little, a revitalised Villa side climbed from 18th the previous season to fourth in the Premier League, securing European qualification while also reaching the FA Cup semi-finals. The season's defining achievement came at Wembley, where Villa defeated Leeds United 3–0 to lift the League Cup, with Savo Milošević, Ian Taylor and Dwight Yorke scoring the goals.
Dwight Yorke led the way with 17 Premier League goals and 25 in all competitions, while the side also featured Paul McGrath, Gareth Southgate, Andy Townsend, Mark Draper, Ugo Ehiogu and Mark Bosnich. The campaign also began with the famous 3–1 victory over Manchester United at Villa Park, setting the tone for a dramatic improvement under Little.
The shirt is instantly recognisable for its traditional claret body and contrasting light-blue sleeves, combined with a distinctive V-neck and subtle tonal Aston Villa crest pattern running through the fabric. The prominent AST Computer sponsorship across the chest gives the design an unmistakable mid-1990s Premier League identity. Used across the 1995–96 and 1996–97 campaigns, this claret-and-blue design is particularly associated with Villa's 1996 League Cup triumph and Dwight Yorke's emergence as one of the league's leading forwards.

Best Printing Choice: YORKE 18
Second Choice: MILOSEVIC 9
Third Choice: TAYLOR 7
We recommend YORKE 18 as the standout printing choice for the Aston Villa 1995–96 Home Retro Football Shirt. Dwight Yorke enjoyed one of the defining seasons of his Villa career, scoring 17 Premier League goals and 25 in all competitions as Brian Little's side finished fourth, reached the FA Cup semi-finals and lifted the League Cup. Yorke completed the scoring in the 3–0 Wembley victory over Leeds United, making his No.18 an outstanding combination of season performance, trophy significance and long-term collector recognition.
Our second recommendation is MILOSEVIC 9. Savo Milošević arrived at Villa ahead of the season and delivered one of its most memorable moments, opening the scoring in the League Cup Final with a spectacular strike against Leeds. For collectors looking for a printing directly connected to Villa's 1996 Wembley triumph, MILOSEVIC 9 is an excellent alternative.
